Safe Outdoor Spaces (SOS)

The Life Link has found residents for all ten shelters.  The community is invited to prepare meals for Saturdays and Sundays; go to https://mealtrain.com/e29w9l for more information and to sign up.

On Wednesday, Dec 13th, 2023 The City of Santa Fe Council unanimously approved the contract for Christ Lutheran to host Safe Outdoor Spaces, a ten pallet shelter site to provide non-congregate housing for people who are unhoused. 

The first Community meeting was via Zoom, January 8th pm, view the recording below on CLC's YouTube Channel.  Dr. Kathleen Van Voorhis, Cass Cronan, and representatives from Christ Lutheran and LifeLink  presented insights.

The second Community meeting was also via zoom on March 21st and includes discussion of the Good Neighbor Agreement.

Senior Ministry
Games, Bible Study and More

Every Tuesday  1-3 pm we gather for Game Time in the Common Room and play a variety of board, domino or card games to keep our minds active.

We gather every Sunday at 9:15-9:45 for a Bible Study, generally focused on the second reading of the day or the Gospel.  Discussions include applying the texts to our lives today.

We regularly enjoy potlucks or special meals to celebrate community.
