The Micro Community is a small, supportive community on the Christ Lutheran Church campus that provides temporary shelter for people experiencing homelessness in Santa Fe. Residents live in individual pallet shelters and are connected with case management and services through our partner organization, The Life Link. The goal is to offer a safe, stable place where people can rest, rebuild, and work toward permanent housing.
In addition to shelter and supportive services, we offer programs that help build community and well-being, including art activities, gardening opportunities, and other small group gatherings. A new community room—scheduled to open for residents in early spring 2026—will provide a welcoming indoor space for these programs, shared meals, and connection. Through safety, dignity, and community support, the micro community helps residents take meaningful steps toward permanent housing while strengthening our broader Santa Fe community.
