Preparations begin for a new pastor

Christ Lutheran Church Council appointed a Transition Team as the first step to calling a new Pastor in 2027.  Members of the team were tasked with putting together a Transition Report and a Ministry Site Profile (MSP) for the ELCA Synod offices and potential candidates.  The MSP describes where we are, what the nature of our ministries encompass and where we see ourselves in the future.

TheTransition Report and the MSP have been completed and the MSP has been sent to the ELCA Synod offices.  

The next phase of this process is the formation of a Call Committee.  The Call Committee is charged with working with the ELCA Synod and other church groups with which we share communion practice to identify candidates.  The Call Committee is formed and will begin its work in early October, 2026.
